"Very close to train station and has a 24/7 supermarket literally across the street. Breakfast contains a variety of homemade Japanese dishes and is delicious. Room is small and good for solo traveler but the rate is great."

Also, we got real keys- it’s been a long time since I’ve had an actual key so that was fun!! The hotel restaurant is one of the best serving famous local beef and hotel guests have a decent discount. Highly recommended for visiting Yamagata."
