"Nice hotel. Rooms recently refurbished and attractive restaurant. Only downside was that we were rushed by the staff in the restaurant."

"This hotel needs updating. The rooms are tired with insufficient lighting and drawer space, however the views of the golf course were lovely. The beds are very high making it difficult for anyone 5ft 2ins or less or with disabilities. However the beds are comfortable The restaurant was excellent. The choice at breakfast was very good. Plenty of free parking and reception was excellent."

"No small breakfast option so €22 was excessive for a bowl of cereal, a coffee and an OJ. No other options in the area. The room was OK apart from the pile of pubes in the corner next to the loo. The banging from below, and as we were on the 1st floor, it wasn't another guest, was the worst bit, this went on til midnight and no staff could explain what it was or why. Wasn't worth the money, I expected better."

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Responded to our needs very quickly. Was unaware our room had no air conditioning. It really should be noted so there is no disappointment and your rating will be imlroved with this knowledge. Also elevator was not working and walking up to second (with 0 being ground floor) was difficult for older guest (me!) with luggage. This should have been noted prior to check in even if it was temporary. Again best to expose than hide facts of stay."

"Great hotel in a great location with easy parking. The hotel overlooks the river and the staff is extremely friendly both in the front office and in the restuarant. This is my 4th time staying here and I will keep coming back as this is the best hotel in Deventer"
