"The staff were pleasant and helpful the breakfast was adequate and tasty the rooms were tired and needed an upgrade but were clean and comfortable. All in all our stay was very enjoyable."

"The historic building is simply beautiful, very charming, and well-restored. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was well-equipped. The service in the restaurant was very friendly but extremely slow. The food was rather mediocre. Breakfast was actually quite poor. There was barely a tablespoon of yogurt with the granola, and the toast was cold and hard like rusk. The location itself is beautiful."

"The king room I booked and paid for, I was told wasn’t available. The hotel was full and the only room they could give me was a twin. It was 5pm and I didn’t want the hassle of trying to get my money back and then drive back up the A34 to the Hilton (where I should have stayed from the onset) The twin room smelt of smoke! "The food was very good and staff great. Grace was a wonderful server. The inn is certainly olde and genuine. Not a pretend olde . Rooms are very unusual with individual names. All are separate from the pub. Obviously the pub is the main venue for the local population. The room was modest size but had two TVs. The shower floods the bathroom. Not a big deal."

Hotel situated in the centre Of Hungerford which is a lovely small town with interesting individual shops and antique markets. Another great stay."
