"Great hotel, great location"

"Hotel is beautiful. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are excellent. Food in the bar is exceptional, best pizza and best fries ever. The only negatives are: 1) lobby is small with little sitting area. As such, it is often crowded and luggage is an obstacle until stored away. My suspicion is that the area used for tea was once a lobby area, but now is a money generating area. 2) the bathroom tub / shower arrangement is a nightmare. "My daughter and I were in town to see a concert. We stayed for 6 night but unfortunately during a heat wave. Our room was very small with only a small fan so that part wasn’t very comfortable but that’s not the hotels fault. The beds were comfortable and cleaning was excellent. The hotel was dated but charming and that’s what we were going for. The best thing about it was the location. I’d stay in Paddington again due to its proximity to the trains and local amenities. "Location close to tube stop but the walls were thin- could hear neighbors on both sides of room. The light in bathroom was automatic so made for a very rude middle of night trip to the toilet. It also came on unexpectedly in middle of night as did the fan."

"The property was in an ideal location, just off Trafalgar Square. The room however was not that great. The room was extremely small with a huge pillar in the centre of the room. The TV wasn’t working. The bathroom/toilet door wasn’t working properly and got stuck shut on two occasions. The shower also didn’t work properly due to a bent hose that let very little water out. "My husband and I stayed here for 8 nights, we included breakfast with our stay and it was well worth it. The breakfast buffet was displayed beautifully every morning with little omelettes, an assortment of breads, pastries, deli meats and cheeses, fresh fruits and vegetables, yogurt and cereals.
