"A modern and comfortable hotel. Rooms on the small side. A bit of a walk into town with a big hill involved. For the price, it should have some part of breakfast included."

"Extremely comfortable beds. Excellent view. But the property is a bit tired and needs a little TLC. Was a bit odd that the ensuite didn’t have a toilet in it, and you had to go out in the hallway to a shared one. And in the downstairs, the toilet was separate to the bathroom, which only had a basin to wash your hands, so, they should have been in the same room, not 2 separate rooms? But, in saying that. We did like our stay, the staff were lovely. Ok distance from town. Walking down didn’t take too long, but back up the hill was a little struggle for the unfit. But, about a $10 uber fare, so that was great!"

"Was very disappointed with our stay, photos looked beautiful. But when we arrived the rooms were average and the restaurant not accommodating. Was far too expensive for what we got we spent most of our time out of the hotel. Not good value for money and a shame compared to the other places we stayed in New Zealand "

"Sadly, this was the worst stay we have ever experienced anywhere. We were not informed by staff that the bathroom vent was faulty and could not be switched off. As a result, our sleep was severely disrupted, as the constant noise from the vent ran throughout the night. In addition, it’s unclear why this property is described as “apartments.” In reality, it more closely resembles a run-down motel. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not recommend staying here"

"Beautiful stay. Views were amazing, the features like kitchen and fireplace were perfect for our stay. 25 min into town along the water and a short 15 min drive to hikes. Will be coming back in the future. "
