"The hosts were unbelievably friendly. Loved the place, the history and the condition of the property. I’d love to return - was a great getaway"

"DO NOT BOOK UNLESS YOU ARE GERMAN WITH A GERMAN CREDIT CARD. Worst experience I have ever had on ebookers.. I booked a double room w/breakfast.... The credit card charge was not via ebookers but it was supposed to be charged by the property. They sent an auto-generated email to say they were going to charge my Visa. They then emailed me to say there was a problem charging my card. They then called me to say that they do not have breakfast available and that I should cancel...

"We had a great time staying for 2 nights in September. The hotel staff are very welcoming and nice, the food was great and fresh. We were not able to book a spa massage since they were full, next time it’s best to order a massage in advance to preserve a spot."

"Geat small hotel, not far from.the motorway. Owners speak english and breakfast is delicious. "

"Beautiful Hotel!!"

"Wonderful and friendly and very helpful service"

"Very good hotel!"

"Very nice appartment with everything you could need. Nice building with lots of activities for the whole family. The only downside is that theres is a lack of parking spaces because the number of handicap spaces not being used is way too many."

"Very friendly staff. Despite our very late arrival the owner of the establishment ensured me I could call him and he would assist us on the check-in. Very large, cosy and comfortable rooms. Plenty parking availability. I warmly recommend this hotel for both business travellers as tourists."

"We had a very nice stay at this hotel not much to do in the village but the food at the restaurant was good and the service was perfect - our stay was due to going gravel biking in the national park Harz"

"Good location, comfortable bed, nice hotel"
