"This was a beautiful location. The room was spacious and loved the patio for coffee in the mornings. It was very private. We enjoyed the pool and restaurants were great. Breakfast was amazing. We did the picnic and dinner in the Olive Garden and loved getting to know others at our table. The chefs food choices were so wonderful. We would definitely stay again. "

Delicious breakfast with cakes, which were fresh baked every day by the owner. One day it was grape cake with grapes from her garden. "We absolutely loved this property and its setting. So many places we visited were overly crowded & this location was perfectly situated in Tuscany between Siena, San Gimignano, and other destinations while providing a refuge from the crowds. Castellina in Chianti is small, but it has several great restaurants to choose from that are within walking distance of the hotel. Breakfast was absolutely lovely. Lots of options, with something for everyone. We loved the historic nature of this...

"Wonderful property. Striking location. Better than in the pictures. We did get an upgrade at a reasonable price to a larger suite. This was a great 4 day start to a couple weeks in Chianti. "

"The hotel is a beautiful ancient building in a very pretty Tuscan hill top town. The views from the terrace where you can have breakfast/dinner are amazing. Our room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are lots of restaurants in the beautiful old street the hotel fronts onto, so going out to eat was a breeze. The hotel has its own parking. Towels for the pool are provided. "
