10/10 Excellent

"First I will say that the trip to Virginia beach alone was breathtaking!!!! The room I wound up getting was the icing on the cake. I guess I could of chose between 2 different floors that were available but the front desk gentleman suggested the room I stayed with. Perfect selection!!!!! As soon as I walked in the room it had a nice refreshing smell to it. I opened the curtain and balcony door and the ocean view was to die for! This was the best choice in hotel that I enjoyed. Gorgeous view! Steaming hot Jacuzzi! Excellent Customer service from everyone! Thanks to Alicia the housekeeper for the info! The only problem I had was the day before I was due to leave....a whole family took over the pool. I don't mind sharing a pool with anyone. The problem I had was they were blasting their music the whole 6 and 1/2 hrs they were down there. I live next to a audio place...I wanted to get away from the booming bass and just take in the ocean but they kinda ruined the pool experience. There was no relaxing that day. The hotel was great though and I plan on going back real soon. Great location and Great business."

"The hotel (condos) were fine, the problems were check-in. The room they had assigned to us had a broken bed frame. Instead of assigning us a different room even after I asked to be assigned a different room, they told us we had to wait for the repair to be completed. How long would that take? They couldn't tell me. I went by the room in question and there was no one there doing repairs. Back at the desk I had to get a little pushy, either tell me how long or assign me another room. Eventually after some whispering between staff another room was assigned. By then it was after 5pm, well after the 4PM check-in. If ultimately I received another room then why not change it so I could check in when I arrived? Save the broken bed frame for someone who wasn't there yet? I asked for a refund of the "facility fee" I was given the refund but on arrival home we noted it was added back. I'll follow up later. The second thing to be aware of it that are trying to sell vacation packages so once you complete your check-in (or not complete your check-in as the case may be) the "greeters" funnel you to the Concierge desk, which isn't a real Concierge Desk, but a team ( I think there 5 or 6) of sales people. They begin by questioning your trips purpose and asking about the length of stay, then they attempt to extend your stay and get you to attend something I'm assuming was like a time share pitch. Not a good experience when it really could and should have been."

"The staff were very kind and helpful. We loved easy access to the beach and the fact that the parking garage is connected to the hotel rather than having to park across the street. Breakfast was also delicious. Thanks so much for making our stay wonderful!"

"Need to sort out breakfast so the waffle station is separate from other breakfast items. Lines were too long to get other breakfast items. A comfortable sitting area outside would be nice."

"Denied option to PAY for late check-out even though I asked 2 days in advance. If you check-in on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday be prepared to wait for a LONG TIME. Unloading at the curb is not an option. You will be hauling your luggage through the parking garage and waiting even longer to use the parking garage elevator. I understand that this is the beach but the parking garage elevator hasn't been cleaned in months and has a horrible stench."
