"I recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Chattanooga South/East Ridge and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The biggest issue was the bed, which was extremely firm and uncomfortable. A good night's sleep is one of the main reasons for booking a hotel, and I struggled to get comfortable throughout my stay. "We booked a suite and got a standard 2 bed with no suite. Room smelt like mildew and cigarettes, carpet was wet. TV was crooked and looked like it was going to fall off the wall."

"For the money spent this hotel was fine but it was very concerning that the black mold was spray painted over in the shower. That’s a huge health hazard. The beds were pretty lumping and the first floor had a very mildew smell to it. We honestly would like a discount on the room. For the owners knowledge, there was also water coming out from the shower handle. That will eventually cause an issue in the shower."

"It was our last night of traveling for 17 days, and the bed was great , very comfortable. We still had a 10 hour drive home in the morning so unfortunately we didn't have time for breakfast this time ."

"Wallace and Nancy are the most gracious hosts. The property is beautiful, you can feel your stress melt away, and while this property is very close to the best restaurants and shopping, when hanging out at the cottage it is easy to forget you are in the city, it feels like you have escaped to the countryside. We had the best breakfast in the mornings....mixed fresh fruit with creme and granola, followed by eggs benedict and for dessert gooey homemade brownie...was just one of the awesome treats...
