Reasonable for overnight

The accommodation was reasonable for an overnight. A high ladder to climb with luggage. A gentleman, staff or owner, offered to help. The room and bathroom had no pleasant smell. A good available kitchen was great for preparing an evening snack and breakfast. Rate 8 for value for money.

Clean, comfortable, quaint, great location.

You got what you paid for. We were in a really nice room the first night we stayed...but then added a second night and were moved to room #1. That room extremely plain and there was a sewerage smell from our bathroom that was hard to get rid of. The Entire complex though was really nice. There was a full size kitchen to share, large patio and pool. The hotel manager and cleaners were very accommodating. Perfect place to stop along the way as we were touring the coast.Would stay again and would recommend. Great restaurants in town especially Ribiera do Poco! Excellent food! Great staff!

My experience at casa mestre

Staying there in the low season (December) I feel it was slightly overpriced but I suppose this comes down to lack of competition in the area. The location couldn’t have been any more central. I had to call to gain access to the property as there was no answer from the bell. This wasn’t a problem in itself as someone came to let me in within a few minutes. There was no heater in the room which would have been nice as this time of year it gets cold as soon as the sun goes down. The was an extra blanket though so I wasn’t cold once in bed. The bathroom and hallway operated a PIR lighting system which needs improvement as the light went out after about five seconds in the hallway. The doors need easing and the place could use a paint job but the kitchen was well equipped. On street parking wasn’t an issue this time of year, parking opposite was fine.

Einfache, aber sehr empfehlenswerte Pension

Als Wanderer auf der Rota Vicentina waren wir nur eine Nacht in diesem Guesthouse. Unser Zimmer war einfach, aber sehr sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Im Sommer sehr schön. Im Innenhof kann man sich in einem Swimmingpool abkühlen.

The hosts were very helpful, parked the motorcycle in their garage, swimming pool was refreshing, a very relaxing place and just a short ride to " Cabo de Sao Vicente". Well worth staying at.

Good stay.

Large room. Styled with straw. The staff was friendly. Easy check in check out. Vila do bispo is small enough that everywhere is a few minutes walk. Nice small pool. The attached bathroom did not have privacy.
