Well worth the price
Great value. Let me leave bags but no early check in. Except for the fresh orange juice machine, breakfast the morning I paid for it was not very appetizing.

One of my favorite budget hotels in recent memory. The building is modern, the room spacious enough and well-designed. It has a decent little lobby/entranceway and an elevator up to the rooms. In other words -- a genuine hotel feel. All the receptionists I spoke to were super friendly. The location, near the train and bus station, is quite convenient for coming and going. Takes about 10 minutes to walk to the casco vello. So it's not "in the middle of things" but it's close. I would stay here again in a second. One small comment, if you like big thick mattresses, at least in my room, that's not what I got. But the bed was comfortable enough, and everything overall was fantastic. Oh, especially the water pressure. One of the best hotel showers I've experienced in a long time!

Ideal small hotel
An excellent small hotel with easy walking access to city centre. GPS essential in order to locate. Parking was a big bonus. Staff were helpful and friendly.

I had more rooms (first I had one where I didn't had enough space for my luggage) in this hotel, trying to find a quite one. When I had a better room (3-rd one), somebody was smoking close to my room and when I get to sleep I felt smoke into my room... so I left the hotel. Nice reception staff (I could have a small fridge free of charge), except the owner (or director/manager). He promised me fresh renovated room (when I returned to this hotel) and I get one renovated 20 years ago (or more). Better I don't show pictures. I am sure I will not comeback. Avoid room close to elevator's trunk (at least from 6-th floor). Is very noisy!!! Internet also, is far from the acceptable.

A nice hotel a little out of the centre of Vigo, so it’s quiet at night, but it is not too far the walk into the centre. It is in a convenient position for getting to and from both train stations in Vigo. This hotel has everything you need for a pleasant stay.

The Panton was good. Beds comfortable and clean. Underground car park was very useful.. we only saw about 6 spaces in the carpark though the hotel says there are 12 available. If no room there, they have an agreement with a car park near for 10e for 24 hours. There are quite a few good bars and restaurants close

Description stated "free parking." Reservation stated that those driving to the property should notify the hotel in advance. We called the morning of stay, and they laughed. They have 12 parking spots on site, first-come-first-served. We parked down the street at the train station for a reduced rate of 10€ for the night. Desk clerk in the evening was very nice, in the morning was on the rude side. Construction was not a deal-breaker, but not great. Room nondescript, but fine for the price. Vigo was a 1 night stop on road trip. It was the only traditional hotel we stayed in, and it reinforced the wisdom of our alternative choices the other 6 nights. There are food and drink bargains a-plenty within walking distance, including Porto Santo, where we had very inexpensive beer and tapas. Unfortunately, they were not open 1/2 hour after they were supposed to be for desayuno.

Handy for the city centre
Hotel staff welcoming and helpful despite an obvious language barrier. Easy parking. Pleasant walk to the old town. Room small but clean. poor inter-room sound-proofing.

Can't believe its only 2 star!
Handy location for town with restaurants/ bars nearby. About 10 minutes walk to harbour and sea front. Vigo I well worth a visit before it gets 'discovered' by foreign tourists.

Convenient location. Basic but comfortable.
This family run hotel has all that you need. Expect basic and comfortable. Personally I found the reception staff very helpful (e.g. provided information when I asked and ordered me taxis). The rooms were cleaned, beds made and towels replaced every day. The cleaning staff were efficient and cheerful. If you need more breakfast or bar choice, there are many cafes, bars and restaurants nearby.
