Fine hotel, good value.

Bed was two mattresses pushed together so the middle of the bed was very uncomfortable. Ok location a little out of downtown, still walkable. Pool and breakfast were a highlight.

This is a nice old Hotel. However, there was remodeling going on and as soon as we stepped off the elevator or out of our room, the smell of lacquer paint was unbearable. Also, they wanted to charge us $10 for the free airport shuttle.

I spend time at Laotel that we could be so relax.They have Bar,Pool,souvenir shop and restaurant.If we eat dinner out side,can need walk a bit(10minutes on foot)

This hotel was a nice place to stay. Walking distance to the Mekone river, massege, stores, etc. Door service to pickup or handle your bags. Food was great, pool a bit cold but very clean.

Practical and nice stay

The hotel is quite nice with incredible service. We got a refreshing drink when arriving, and they made sure to help us with booking transportation for the next day. The building and rooms are outdated but feels exclusive and nice. Walking distance to the night market, supermarkets and some very nice restaurants. Close to the airport. We would have enjoyed the pool having late opening hours.

Older French Colonial Hotel, beautiful, super clean, staff was very helpful, kind, over the top polite, has a lot of amenities, gym, bar, restaurant, the pool was amazing. The overall cleanliness of the Hotel was incredible impossible to believe spotless. Walking distance to the Mekong bars, riverside BBQ, Atms, nice live music venue right next to the Hotel Marktwo Bar. Great Price.

Laotel is portrayed as a 4-star hotel in terms of customer service and facility appearance. However, the condition of the rooms could be improved. The plumbing system is indigent. I can hear the next door's shower and flush. The wall is poorly insulated. I can hear them talk clearly.

I had booked a Junior Suite room, but when I arrived there, they said there was no Junior Suite room available. The staffers looked annoyed and one of them was clicking his tongue repeatedly while dealing with me. After all I had to stay at a cheaper and smaller room. In addition, I couldn’t get access to wi-fi in the room.

Good:. The staff is very friendly to include the front desk and housekeeping. The both did wonderful jobs taking care of our stay. The breakfast was decent. The property was very nice. Bad:. Rooms are pretty old. I had to change rooms because the mattress was very bad. There isn't any power outlets near the bed to plug in your devices to charge. I had to charge my phone near the bathroom. The internet isn't very fast but fast enough to do email. The TV has limited channels.

Fair price for small room, nice clean bedsheets and towels, aircon, mattress ok, basic toiletries kit, 1,000 pesos deposit, unlimited bottle-water, no wardrobe; no bedside lamp our table. Large local breakfast if included in your deal, flat screen TV with a dozen local channels, hot water for hot drinks, efficient and clean WC and hot/cold shower, quite narrow street 50 meters from main 8-line road, few minutes’ walk to 7/11, Dunkin Doughnuts, simple local eaters and small fruit & veggies shops, nice reasonable eater exactly next door, no walking distance supermarkets or mall, area not particular nice for walks, late check-out for small fee, efficient 24 hour English reception, small common lounge. But no electric plugs near the bed,
