I loved the spacious room, the dispensers in the shower, the pool, and the breakfast. The people behind the front desk were nice for the most part, just not very talkative. The cleaning lady didn't speak to us at all and we walked passed her like 20 times. Overall I liked our stay and we will go back if we are in that area again.

The bed was clean so that's a good thing! The AC leaked so the carpet was wet about a foot completely around the unit, keep you shoes on!! When we walked in we noticed the musty smell (maybe due to the AC leak) so bring your defuser! The pool was dirty and thw jets didn't work but the beds were clean! We will find a different hotel next year!

The property was clean, but outdated. We were some of the only guests at the hotel, so it was very quiet. The breakfast was ok. Room was comfortable, quiet, but the tv didn’t work. Also, the smoke alarm right outside of the second floor had duct tape all over it, like maybe they had just painted? Either way, it won’t work, covered up like that. Also, when I asked for more hand towels, the staff member acted like it was a weird request, but then gave them to me. I would rate this stay ok, for the price.

Best Western Port Lavaca is a perfectly nice place to stay for a short visit (my wife and I were headed to Aransas National Wildlife Refuge). The rooms are spacious and reasonably well equipped. The price is good. Breakfast is OK but pretty minimal. There is an excellent seafood restaurant on the other side of the highway.
