"This was a very interesting resort! Unfortunately, we arrived, and there was no one to greet us, except the security guard, who gave us a nice tour around the property, including rooms that were obviously occupied by other guests… Our room was nice, but the facilities could certainly use some work. For example, there was no toilet paper holder, and there was about 1/25 of a roll of toilet paper just sitting on the back of the toilet tank. The shower curtain didn’t reach the floor on the shower...

"I enjoyed swimming in my private pool! The resort was amazing, clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. I felt pressure to tip everyone, which was overwhelming as there are a lot of people helping you. There is a collective tip box but it doesn't include tipping the drivers and front office staff. In future I would let everyone know I will tip them on the last day and avoid the stress of having tip money with me all the time. "

"This is more of a guest house than a lodge. Accommodations are basic, which is why the label of "lodge" is perhaps a little misleading.
Like many things in Zimbabwe, this place has several things that are broken, which didn't make it an awful stay, but when added up, they detract from the overall quality of the establishment. For example, the door on the shower stall did not shut all the way, and we had to ask for more bath towels for our family.

"The place was awesome. The people were even better. It is located in a nice quiet area with a short walk into town or you can get a shuttle. We had early morning excursions and they accommodated our schedule with breakfast when we needed it. The place is super clean. They are always cleaning something. We especially like the front desk staff Charmine and driver Eric. But everyone we met was super friendly and nice. It was also great to have some English channels on TV. "

"The hotel was cozy, clean, and comfortable. It well served its purpose as a base for me while I visited the Falls several times. The neighborhood of the hotel was also charming. I’m a birder and managed to photograph more than 10 new bird species, separate from what I saw at the Falls. As a solo traveler, I especially welcomed seeing Faith’s friendly face every morning for the two days I spent at the hotel. I would stay at this place again and would recommend it to others. "

"Had a bad Checkin experience, feel like they ambushed us by taking advantage of the busy period they were threatening to cancel our reservation and leave us stranded on the street.
