"We had an amazing stay at Lampare Mare. The entire staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive from the moment we arrived. Camilo, the chef, is not only an outstanding professional but also a wonderful person and a great friend. Alessandra was always kind, friendly, and attentive, making every meal even more enjoyable. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was excellent, and the overall atmosphere...

"I didn't care for the location; too far from restaurants, ferry and the city center. I got lost walking and had to take an Uber back to the hotel one night which cost 25 euro. The place looks better in the ads than actual. Room was a little funky and lighting is weird. Better options around at similar price. Upside: nice garden for breakfast with kittens and very friendly staff."

"Proximity to the ruins is brilliant. Also to the town and station. The 4 flights of stairs to the second floor were a workout, but the view of Mt Vesuvius was stunning. The room was great, bed comfortable, and the fridge was a useful extra. Shower takes a really long time to run hot, but is lovely when it does. Lights and noise from the kids park next door during the evening was barely discernible with the door closed. The cafe downstairs is really nice, and obviously a local attraction...
