"The hotel was clean and the staff were available, it was adequate. The building is just old and has been used hard. There were no amenities. It was a nuisance that everything and everybody had to go through the main entrance, and all the others were closed. Something functioning keycards fix at most places. The price I paid was twice what it was worth, considering it was barely occupied. The attached casino is the old ashtray type. The Casino next door was much nicer and walkable. I probably should have read more reviews; there is no shortage of casinos/hotels in Vicksburg"

"Even though we had a non-smoking room, it’s still smelled like smoke… I guess it drifted from the casino. We enjoyed the casino and the view of the river!"

"This La Quinta needs a face-lift. I stayed there eight years ago, and it was nice. I won't stay there again. It was dirty and dingey. The gold chair was so dirty that I wouldn't sit in it. It was also coming apart."
