Hotel du Lac Champlain, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Hotel du Lac Champlain, an Ascend Collection Hotel

8/10 Good
"The hotel is located across the road from Lake Champlain, lovely location. Looks like a newer property. Clean and bright. We had a suite that at first glance is absolutely beautiful. But after being in it for a few minutes it was lacking a few things. It was a huge open space, with sliding doors going to a balcony with a view of the lake. It has a small fridge located right beside the door to the room which was bit strange, with all this space. It had a beautiful wood dining room table for six people, in a room for 2. And there were no dishes, microwave, or kettle that you could make a small meal for yourself, or even heat up take out...Strangely, you could drink the nespresso coffee for free, but would be charged extra if you drank the water bottles provided in the room. There was no bar sink to fill the nespresso machine, you had to use the bathroom sink. There is a large bathtub to soak in, which was lovely. The bed was very comfortable, and the bedding clean and good quality. There was a fake leather couch in the room that was worn and flaking off onto the carpet...kind of tacky when they are clearly trying to look very sophisticated in this room. There is a spa located at the property that is not included in your stay, not even at a discount, which would have been a nice perk."

"chambre propre , bien en général belle vue sur la rivière. Si vous faite plus jour pour travail et autre apporter une cafetière et firestick pour la télévision, le reste tous est très bien"

10/10 Excellent
"Great place run by great people. Very quiet accommodations. Our only negative is that the spa equipment is dated and some of it was out of order. They could definitely use an upgrade in that area."
