Hotel is very nice, beautiful gardens but the rooms are a bit old not looking super clean. Staff was friendly but I expected a much better experience from a 4 star hotel. Location is good if you want to be completely away from the crowds, only negative is the time it takes taking the vaporetto to San Marks area. You are a short vaporetto trip to Murano and closer to the train station. We liked that it was pretty secluded and quiet.

We loved staying here because it was away from the crowds and near to the first Alilaguna ⛴️ first stop from the airport. Brilliant customer service on arrival. We paid a high fee for 4 nights with child in early April 2024. Breakfast is €25 per person. We stayed in the junior suite (403). A lovely balcony top floor room. The sink in the bathroom is strange as ½ of it is enclosed under a mirror. The shower tap was broken, but usable. Very hot on demand 😃 The views are lovely as is the hotel gardens! It is a 3-minute walk from the boat station. No bottled water in the room! 😔 A bit disappointing to check out with a double bar bill; hopefully will be rectified soon.

Great location
Beautiful hotel. I picked this hotel due to its location away from the crazy crowds in the centre of Venice. This hotel sits in a beautiful spot and has fantastic amenities.

The hotel and grounds are quite nice. The hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of San Marco and tourist district yet many, many great dining and shopping options. It is walkable to the main tourist attractions bland there is also a daily shuttle boat directly from the hotel. The room was recently renovated and done very well. The website images do not do the property justice. It is a very nice property and feels very upscale and affordable prices for Venice.

Staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations, arranging transportation and even a boat tour to Murano. Taylan was particularly exception, true hotelier. Rooms were clean large and comfortable. Only the AC gave some issues one night but otherwise an excellent property, highly-recommended!

This hotel was perfect for us. It is right on one of the canals but in a quieter part of Venice. There were still plenty of restaurants and shopping to choose from, but it wasn't overly crowded like it is down by the grand canal. We took a water taxi over to the other side of the island and did St. Mark's Square, and we just walked back through town to our hotel. The staff was friendly, and the continental breakfast was good. The staff scheduled us a water taxi to the airport and a gondola ride. It was great!

This is a lovely property, in a fantastic area that is away from the crowds but super accessible. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would suggest you check that the AC in your room works, because Venice gets hot in the summer, but aside from this, everything is perfect.

This hotel was a palace at some point. Unfortunately, it has not been updated since then. Instead of keeping up with the times it seems like they’re just keeping the profits in their pockets. old air conditioning barely works and they blamed it on the electrical shortage because of the war with Ukraine. The door in the bathroom would shut unless it was pushed and when we did that I got locked inside!!! I told staff about this and they sent someone upstairs he suggested I don’t close the door! What kind of resolution is that!?? Who uses the bathroom without closing a Door? Staff was helpful trying to arrange a ride to the airport and even walked our luggage to the water taxi area while we waited for the allylaguna. I would NOT recommend this hotel AT ALL even though it’s in beautiful Venice.

It’s a Venetian castle, wonderful and roomy. Had trouble with the AC. Couldn’t get it to work properly the first night. They set it up but didn’t talk me how to properly handle it. Went from hot to cold but couldn’t properly set it up.

This hotel was amazing! The customer service is top notch and the hotel itself is beautiful! Best hotel we stayed at in Italy! I can’t remember all the names other than a Juergen and Chloe I think that helped us. Absolutely beautiful!!! Very fairly priced and incredible. The ambiance is spectacular. The breakfast was amazing as well. Only thing to note is it is a walk to the main San Marco square but the hotel is very quiet and not crowded- so if you want to stay away from the tourists and crowd this is the place!! I can not recommend this hotel enough. Every time we asked for a specific amenity it was in our room under 5 minutes. Amazing hotel!!!

The location is nice and quiet. Staff was able to help us coordinate transportation once we arrived; however, did not reply to an inquiry about transport to the hotel. Now that we know, having a taxi to the hotel would have been ideal and wish they would have helped us coordinate that. On one evening the bartender seemed put out by our drink order so on the second night only one of our friends ordered a drink and the bartender was friendly that night. Overall would recommend the hotel!

Welcoming, lovely accommodations. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood with access to a canal & the lagoon, separated by a historic garden.

Pleasant hotel
Enjoyed our stay at NH Collection. The staff were very friendly & helpful in booking us water taxi’s to go wherever we needed to go. Also had good recommendations for dinner.

Total disappointment! "Fake Fancy" save your $$$
What an utter disappointment. When you pay over $650 per night, expectations are high. The following complaints wouldn't be an issue if they didn't claim 5 stars. Felt more like a motel 6. We arrive after a long flight, and there's no doorman, greeting, nor offer of even water. We're ignored for the first 10 min we stand in the lobby, finally we get a basic acknowledgement and checkin experience. Go to the room, it's okay, but the light in the hallway doesn't work, so it's dark, and the bathroom door doesn't close! I ask for a different room but they tell me they need to verify the door issue. Ok... So a guy comes, trys to get it to close for 5 minutes, finally gets it closed by slamming it incredibly hard, and tells us there's no issue. So I go complain again, and the receptionist looks at me and says the guy said everything was fine. No offers or attempts at "Service recovery" but I insist as it's our honeymoon, so finally they offer a different room for our next night. Next morning realize the coffee maker wasn't cleaned, and spent 15 minutes trying to take out the jammed old pods, to get it to work. So we move rooms day 2, and second room is fine. We realize our first room was also missing cream, and water bottles. Through the whole time, it would have super easy and simple to offer a bottle of wine, or a free breakfast, or really ANYTHING you would expect from a hotel claiming 5 stars, but we got better service in our airbnb before and after this fail of a hotel.
