The owner was very nice and personable. Contacted us with information and offered help. Pretty clean, though not updated. Laminate flooring seemed clean, no bedbugs, and clean sheets. The water pressure was a little low in the shower, which was slightly annoying. It was quiet and in a pretty safe location. About 50 minutes from downtown by water bus. It was great for a budget hotel for two college men, but if you are an american looking for a Holiday Inn, this is not the place for you.

Familly hotel which needs to be renovated.Hotel entrance is strange like you get into a kind of "back door" storage room.The floor needs to be changed and the walls painted. The stuf,was a young girl looking like house keeper.No smiles,no welcome,no nothing. I asked if I can make a coffe to the kettle in the loby and I was informe that only next morning can be posible. I have low blood presure and after a long travel I had no power to ho out in the sun looking for a coffe shop,which were not next door also.I asked a cup of hot water but yet, I was refused.There was not even a botle of water in the room,too. The bed had a non cotton throw which made the night hard.It was very hot if I was keeping it on, and cold incase I removed it. No light working near the bed.No place to charge ph near the bed. Clean bathroom.Clean towels and beddings. Weired but close location to supermarket,feriboat and sea side.

The staff was so accommodating and very kind. They made our stay so nice and easy and reduced so much stress. The gardens around the hotel are also beautiful!

lovely stay!
The customer service was amazing! We lost the house key in the water when trying to get on the water bus and the issue was immediately sorted. The room was very comfortable and we even got to extend our booking in the morning with ease.

nice&quiet stay
hotel is in a quiet area, but really close to the main street and vaporetto port. Rooms are big enough and confortable. There is no service and reception is often unattended but the manager is always ready to help if needed.

Not bad for a couple nights I was there over a week. You can’t complain for the price it’s a great deal. Only a few minor areas they need to work which the plumbing which the water kept on filling up when I was brushing my teeth, it was hot and stale in air in my room I couldn’t use the window because it almost fell off, the bed was okay but it smelled like sweat and I attempted to mask the smell with cologne, last but the least the pillow case had old blood stains and so did 1 of the towels. Overall I would stay here again if it’s for a max 2 nights but no more.

Cheap and cheerful I nearly cancelled my booking because a reviewer said they’d experienced bedbugs but glad u didn’t none there! If you want cheap and cheerful it’s ok if you want quality or luxury you’ll be disappointed

Lovely place.
Overall a good experience. The hosts were lovely, the room was very nice, good facilities and a love bathroom/shower. Breakfast was nice, no hot foods. But good for the price. Only downside was a minor issue with ants in the room, but this was taken care off very quickly. The island is wonderful too, very good transport links.

Cheap alternative but clean rooms and only 10 minutes walk from water bus lido stop. Breakfast much better than we expected for the small amount we paid Top tip: download walking directions as although it's not far it's not straightforward.

Lovely peaceful location away from crowds
Lovely hotel on the lido. Tasty if minimal breakfast and extremely good value. I loved the location. A five minute walk from the vaporetto stop. The lido is a great place to stay. It’s cheaper by far than the city and the choice of good restaurants is amazing. Great to have your own little fridge to store wine and cheese in. There is a supermarket just round the corner. Can’t comment too much on the staff. It was rare to see any but the room was clean and well kept. Overall a really enjoyable stay here. I will return.

Nice hotel
Rooms are nice, clean and spacious, the only thing that irked me was that staff seemed rude, no smile, no talk, also they take city tax in coins, so they should have some change with them

Great stay on Lido as a cheaper alternative
We visited Venice for a few days and thought we'd take a cheaper option and stay on Lido, great decision! Its fairly simple to get between the main island of Venice (especially St Marks Square) & Lido via water bus, and quite cheap too (we purchased a 2 day travelcard for 30euros each person). Depending on where you are heading the Line1 route took between 30mins (San Marco) to 45mins (Rialto). The island of Lido is a little cheaper then the main land, and very beautiful too. The hotel was around a 10min walk from the water bus stop, and past a supermarket too so any cheap supplies you may need. We did mistakenly get charged twice (once when booking and once when checking in), but this was quickly resolved & refunded. You also have to pay a city tax (i think ours was around 9euros for both us for our 3 night stay). The hotel is fairly basic but was perfect for what we needed - a bed and a shower! It's a 2 star hotel and you get exactly that, very basic but a great little place.

We enjoyed staying here very much.The garden was a lovely place to enjoy the ample breakfast.Great location for the water bus to Venice and only five minutes from the beach.A more local feel with a relaxed holiday vibe to the area. Friendly staff who were very helpful.

There is nothing wrong with the hotel. It's located in a peaceful neighborhood with convenient facilities. Yet, since we reserved the room on Expedia we weren't offered breakfast even though we paid exactly the same rate with the other customers. That didn't feel good.

I'm very disappointed with this hotel Location is good, 4 minutes walk from station and 2 minutes from great selection. However, the hotel itself and staff terrible! First when we arrived, the person covering the desk had an attitude. We arrived at 5 minutes before 2pm, which is check in time and we were told the room was not ready and had to wait 30 minutes. I was going to let that go, but then the lady turns around to inform me breakfast would not be included, when it clearly stated that on my itinerary a continental breakfast was included. When i showed the lady my itinerary she just shrugged her shoulders and stated she did not know how that occured on her system. The room we stayed had mold under the windows and there was no A.C, which made it uncomfortable to stay as the temperature in Venice was in the high 20s at the time. If you have any mobility issues forget staying here, there is no lift. The only good comment i can give of the hotel is the cleaner who helped me and my mother on the day i had an accident and the day we left. She is a gem! Unfortunately I would never reccomend this place to anyone.

A nice place
If you want a nice place to stay and not so expensive this is the place to go. The cliness of the place is not top 10 but is ok, the breakfast is good the petsonal is very kind and nice and the locasion is great close to the beach, restaurants and transportation.

Poor check-in experience - Internet did not work well for several days. Shower shelf broken couldn't hold soap I lent it against wall where it remained for the rest of my stay. Furniture showing wear. Have stayed in 6 hotels in Venice - at present would not return to this one.

Hotel in a good location
Hotel is near to vaporetto stops and 5 minutes to the beach. Main Street near by with lots of restaurants, shops, gelato bars and a supermarket for cheap water. We had a room for 3 people on the ground floor, double and fold up bed. The mattress was a little hard, I was Told they changed the sheets and towels every 3 days, if u want daily service you have to pay more. But, the beds were made and fresh towels on day 2 so don't understand the process! Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Good security, have a key pass so u can come and go whenever. It unlocks the gate, front door and ur room. Breakfast is continental, simple but sets u up for the day. Small hotel, only 14 rooms in a very quiet location. It's on the island of Lido, a vaporetto ride away from San Marco square, so refreshing in the morning and evening after walking around in the heat in main Venice. Mosquitos around, make sure u bring along mosquito repellent such as jungle fever 50% Deet to deter them. I didn't use it 1 day and got bit several times during my stay in the heat of July. Get a 3 day vaporetto pass so you can hop on and of the vaporettos as much as you like. The back garden seating area could do with a clean, it had rained and they were wet and covered in leaves etc. We had the accessible room 2 to accommodate 3 people. It was much more spacious than the double rooms. Over all it's a budget stay hotel, with a good location, where u spend most of your day sightseeing.

Lido rather like Palo Alto Ca with a ferry!
Location was good not too far from ferry and close to the beach (not that the beach is very nice) and restaurants and a grocery store. Our room was small and the bed not very comfortable (also the headboard was ripped up so didn't look very nice; smelled like smoke, possibly from the air conditioner that had just been turned on). Other rooms might be better. Has an outdoor area where you can sit which is nice to be able to get out of your room.

Ok budget hotel
I liked the location of this hotel as it meant you had to get a boat into Venice each morning which gives you a beautiful view of the city. There are a couple of shops and nice restaurants within 2 minutes walk. The only point deductions from me are due to bed bugs. We stayed 2 nights and I was bitten several times- if you don't mind a few bites, it's a great budget hotel.

I stayed with family for 2 nights. Accessibility from hotel to public transport and restaurants was good. Just 10min walk from boat station. Beach is just 5min away from room. Poor wifi connection No AC. Room was very hot. We had to open windows all the night. I didn't use the TV as all the cables were disconnected.
