"Location is fantastic. We had a room with 2 Juliette balconies and it was great to look down on a busy gondola route right below. A few steps from St Marks Sq. Close to shops and amenities. Only negatives were that it needed small bits of maintenance like the lock on door and some TLC on the bathroom. Bed was comfortable and shower worked well. "

"This hotel is on the other side of the canal, and they only allow you to cross without paying during a six-hour window from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. After that, you either have to pay a very high amount of money to cross the canal or take a long walk around just to get back to the hotel. Unfortunately for us, we had just gotten off the bus boat with heavy luggage, completely exhausted from our trip, and had to figure all of this out ourselves. "I had a wonderful stay in this room in Venice. My family and I was warmly welcomed, and the room was absolutely beautiful and spotless. The staff did an excellent job, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I’d like to give a special thanks to Emelda, who welcomed us for breakfast—she was so kind and attentive. "The hotel is really nice and in a great area. It’s walkable to main attractions and there are lots of restaurants and shops around. The individual room is tiny, we didn’t realize how small it was going to be, but it was cute and comfortable. The bathroom was a nice and shower had good water pressure. "Lovely hotel! Walking distance to many nice places in Venice, especially the square! Friendly staff and love the hotel vibe. We are also very glad that they have a lift so we don't struggle with our luggage. 😅 Bonus - spacious room! Highly recommended. "

"Casa Villa Gardenia is a very easy taxi ride from the airport station, which we did after a long flight, and also easily walkable, which we did to get to Venice. Our host was AMAZING -- follow his recommendations (grazie mille, Federico!). The building and rooms felt secure and hold old world charm in decor and accomodation. The breakfast is top notch, with a wide array to choose from, everything very fresh and presented beautifully. I would stay here again! "
