"This is a charming resort. Please don’t expect five star luxury but the facilities are very nice and the team extremely friendly. They cater for larger groups but that was not a problem. The area has some wonderful walks and wildlife - although unfortunately we did not see any sloths. "

The check in was very easy and the kind security guard helped me to my room. Jennifer (I believe her name is) is extremely sweet and made sure I had everything I needed for my stay. "It was in middle of jungle, did night and bird watching around lodge and we saw many animals. Very happy we found this gem. Rooms are basic and breakfast wss great."

"My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed La Finca Azul, and especially the family whose vision it is -- including Nacho, Oli, and Cece, the three dogs. I've stayed in agroturismos in Italy, and this was a very similar experience, complete with the fabulous food. I'm pretty sure Italy doesn't offer swimming by yourself in a mountain stream surrounded by the echoes of howler monkeys. "

"This is a magical stay and we can’t say enough about how much we loved being at the Monkey Tree house. We walked down to the river and went for a swim, saw howler monkeys, strawberry poison dart frogs, and had a relaxing afternoon. Alondra and the team served us amazing breakfasts in the morning and took time to chat. Rae gave us good advice on what to do with one of our kids being sick. We took her advice and got some medicine from the pharmacy. We had a pizza delivery right to our treehouse....
