"Very nice, very quiet property. The entrance is not very conspicuous for first timers. When we were there, there was some construction going on, so it was understandable that some areas were not as clean. However, this also affected the path to the in-house restaurant making the approach unpleasant and little things like these are not very difficult to manage even with the construction going on, and it was a bit of a surprise. Rooms and facilities were excellent otherwise, food was good, staff pleasant."

"Lovely lake-side setting - very peaceful. Reception organised a kayak tour for me, which was good fun. I'd an issue with the TV, and the hotel Technician was at my room within 5 minutes of me mentioning it. He determined it was broken, and brought a new one and installed it within 30 minutes. Had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the on-site restaurant, and all were lovely meals. The restaurant team were also very helpful - one noticed that I'd started some toast while I took my plate of food to my table, and so she stepped in, collected some butter and jam, and added my toast to a plate which she brought it over to the table for me. Attentive and helpful. The pool was also lovely and warm."

"We enjoyed the resort. Some things were worn down, like the gym and the room doors, but the hotel made up for these problems with its beauty, swimming pool, delicious food and excursions (we had luck to take a canal trip at sunset and got to see a variety of exotic birds like a purple heron and several kinhfishers.) We were among very few foreign guests and really liled that."
