"No internet or TV for our 20-hour overnight stay. Reception said the internet was out across the whole province! Not true. In the morning, reception said internet and TV were still out because they were waiting for Rogers. Questionable plumbing installation and function. Shower leaked under the partition to the bedroom and onto the carpet - as it had obviously done before. Linens and towels didn’t smell fresh. Curtains didn’t close properly, so there was either a gap in the centre or at the left side. We’ve done many pre and post-flight overnights at Fairmont YVR at a comparable price point, and there’s just no comparison as far as value, facilities, condition, amenities, comfort, decor, ambiance, etc. Unless you’ve got a free or heavily-discounted offer, I wouldn’t say that the in-terminal convenience is worth the regular tariff."
