"This is a beautiful spot and an excellent hotel. The concierge and front desk team were excellent with lots of great suggestions. The reason for four stars instead of five was. 1) we were in a satellite building, and not the main structure, and although it was very nice, there was no way of knowing that that was what we were booking. "The room and bathroom were excellent and the brkfst was perfect. The air/heat was working well. Everyone was very helpful and ready to offer more. The last morning we were there they laid out an early breakfast even though I think we were the only ones there and were leaving before breakfast would normally have begun. My husband and I would definitely recommend Villa Rio Guest House to friends. "

"This is absolutely the most wonderful place to stay! There is a shared kitchen and dining room that has everything one would need to make a nice meal! From 8-11 each day, yogurt, bread, pastries, milk, coffee, juice and more is offered. Honestly so many offerings it’s hard to describe. The property is very clean and the hosts are so thoughtful and nice! The pool is perfect and the jacuzzi serene!"

"It's a massive apartment block but very well-appointed, spacious, and quite conveniently located. Our apartment was huge for the money and very well-equipped. Walkable to the beach part of town but a bit of a stretch to the old town centre by the river. We drove and walked in from the sports stadium area for a meal. Lots of choice for eating."
