"Not the best, not the worst; the hotel staff is friendly and professional - the woman working the breakfast was working hard to keep up with all the guest, they should be able to have more staff during breakfast to keep the level a bit higher. The rooms are fine, the bed is ok and so is the breakfast. "

"Hotel Uman is a fantastic hotel. We stayed two separate nights on our way to and from Finland. Nice quiet rooms with all the amenities. Lower level garage is very convenient and safe. Hotel Uman is within walking distance of all Umeå museums, university, river walk, shopping and ferry to Vaasa Finland. The food is excellent (breakfast and dinner) and both are free! The staff is superior---very friendly and accommodating. Hotel Uman is the place to stay in Umeå."
"This hotel was a wonderful stop for us in the north of Sweden and became our base for a week. One of the unplanned for bonuses was the availability of a wheelchair for us since my wife broke her leg on the trip. The breakfast was great and the staff very helpful.
