Good location with nice view towards the water. Walkable distance to many restaurants, and a supermarket within 3 minutes walk. Spacious lobby with table tennis equipments. Breakfast was excellent, and all the staff were very friendly. I would definitely come back!

Unbelievably Great Renovation of a Power Plant

The Steam Hotel is unbelievable. I did not expect such a great facility. We were in Vasteras to visit our son who is studying there, and I booked this hotel with my fingers crossed. Staying at the Steam Hotel was a great experience and if our son stays in Vasteras we will stay there again.

Very stylish hotel

The hotel is very-very stylish. Rooms are spacious and nice. Bed is perfect. Cabinet is very small, no drawers, very few self. The bathroom is small. No real space around the sink. There is no door on the shower. Not enought lift for the high building. One was full time out of order. The pool club is perfect, but for charge, and need advanced reservation. Runing two and half hours periods only. The water park was fully booked for a month, so it was no chance to enter. Some space have to be reserved to hotel guest... Also the restaurant (which is perfect) was many times full, because of the extra events.

Very nice

Overall I think this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Sweden. Some feedback though: Misses porridge, rye bread and unsweetened peanut butter from the breakfast Also I think the gum should be open 24/7 We had a basic room and it was indeed very basic and even quite small. No kettle or coffee in the room! Thought it was pretty dark in the halls and in the restaurant / reception downstairs The spa was nice but should be included in the room price. Also you should be able to stay there longer than three hrs. And why on earth is there no jacuzzi?! But rather three just normal pools. This we did not get at all. One of the showers did not work..

En fantastisk vistelse för hela familje

En fantastisk vistelse för hela familjen! Vi bodde på The Steam Hotel som en liten familj och är helt överväldigade av hur bra allt var. Rummet var fantastiskt – både vackert inrett, tyst och mycket rent. Extra plus för att hotellet hade tänkt på vår tvååriga dotter med både små tofflor och en egen badrock – så gulligt och omtänksamt! Hon stortrivdes och kände sig lika välkommen som vi. Frukosten var en upplevelse i sig – otroligt god, fräsch och med något för alla smaker. Personalen var varma, tillmötesgående och genuint trevliga hela vistelsen. En extra höjdpunkt var det stora lekrummet med hoppborg – vår dotter älskade det och ville knappt gå därifrån. Det gjorde att vi vuxna också kunde koppla av och njuta av vistelsen ännu mer. Vi kommer absolut tillbaka – ett hotell som lyckas vara både lyxigt och barnvänligt på samma gång!

Fantastiskt på alla vis. Super trevlig personal gällande alla. Bar, lobby och frukost. Se till att boka bord på restaurangerna i tid då dem är populära och fullbokade fort. Vi åt bar menyn pga fullbokat men det funkade perfekt för oss :)

Magisk vistelse toppad med kokosgrädde ❤️

Min vistelse på Steam Hotel i Västerås var verkligen något utöver det vanliga. Magisk från det att jag klev in tills det var dags att åka hem. Jag bodde där en natt och blev imponerad av precis allt. Det var rent, fräscht och rummet jag fick var jättefint. Sängen var superskön och inredningen så cool! Frukosten var grym, både när det gäller utbud och smak. Personalen är väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam. Det enda jag saknade var en vattenkokare på rummet så man hade kunnat göra sig en kopp kaffe på kvällen eller morgonen. Men det var verkligen det enda lilla minuset. På kvällen var jag uppe på takterrassen Locovore och där blev det ännu bättre. DJ:en som spelade i fredags (11/7) var riktigt bra och väldigt trevlig dessutom (jag hamnade bredvid honom). Han spelade så skön musik och det höjde verkligen stämningen. Bartendern (min andra, den första sade bara att han inre kunde fixa en kaffedrink pga icke värmetåliga glas) ska ha ett stort tack. Jag dricker ju inte alkohol och tycker ofta det är svårt att hitta något kul att beställa ute. Mocktails i all ära, men ibland vill man bara ha en god kaffedrink. Bartender no.2 gick utanför menyn och fixade en kall kaffedrink med kokosgrädde på toppen. Den var helt fantastisk. Sånt gör att man känner sig välkommen. Allt sammantaget var vistelsen helt fantastisk och jag kommer definitivt tillbaka.

Spahotell som i sommar satsat på lekrum i sommar✨️

5 * av 5 möjliga. Helt fantastiskt hotell som vi har bott på förut, men utan barn. Den här gången när vi bodde här med barn, hade de öppnat upp ett gigantiskt lekrum med hoppborg, bio (jättestor bioduk), pingisbord, bollar, ritmöjligheter, pussel och mycket annat. Helt fantastiskt! Vi har haft en underbar vistelse med vår 2-åriga dotter som älskade det, likväl som vi. Riktigt bra service! Hotellet ligger precis vid vattnet med jättefin promenad och lekparker runtom.

Bra men behov av underhåll.

Som vanligt alltid bra på steam! Ett av dom bösta hotellen i Västerås. Men åren sen det byggdes börjar göra avtryck på rummen och dom skulle behöva lite TLC.
