"Relaxing stay at this gem of a motor lodge of bygone days. Very clean and unique accommodations. We were surprised that the two bed unit was a two bedroom one. Staff is friendly and helpful. Only downside was lack of air conditioner and mini frig."

"The hotel needed some work on the outside. The inside had been refurbished for the upcoming Fifa games. The room was cozy and bright with the most comfortable bed my husband & I have ever slept in. The room was very clean, but modest. We also had a view of the Vancouver skyline from our 3rd floor window. Hondra, the manager, was very gracious and helpful upon our arrival and throughout our 4 day stay. She was very available, though not always onsite. We had privacy and quiet.

"Clean, comfortable rooms but a little noisy at times in the evening given proximity to Vancouver airport.
Front desk staff was very efficient and responsive but not overly friendly. Perhaps not a totally fair comparison given we'd just came from a long stay at a similar hotel in Tokyo.
Also, apparently there's an unwritten rule at this hotel that if you leave your room after 11AM you may not have your room cleaned unless you call the front desk.
Overall it was a very pleasant stay. Airport...

"The property looked run down from the outside but my room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I appreciated the free breakfast and the location close to YVR and the park. The only concern I had was the shuttle: I had reserved my spot the night before and the shuttle was a little late and the driver barely waited for passengers- he was on and off the property in less than a minute -so it would have been really easy to miss entirely if you weren’t on your toes."
