"We love staying at the Bayview in Courtenay. We enjoy the properties amenities (pool with waterslide and hot tub) and the free breakfast bar s serviceable. We did notice that cleanliness of the property and rooms was below our expectations, perhaps it was because it was a very busy weekend however those items should be expected to be done right every time. The furniture in the rooms is dated and somewhat stained. Overall it’s a great place to stay and if they could focus on the cleanliness it would take it to nearly perfect in my opinion"

"This was the 3rd hotel we stopped at on our Canadian trip and was by far the best. From an easy check in to a great room, excellent service and very good food and drink at reasonable prices - compared to elsewhere in Canada, the whole experience was most enjoyable. They couldn't have made us feel more welcome. Brookie was first class as our waitress. The scenery across the bay was stunning. Meeting a bernese on the beach just topped it all off !! We will definitely be back."
