"Andrew and Michelle are wonderful hosts and go above and beyond to make their guests comfortable - great hospitality.
The hotel is well-situated, just a short walk to the shops and across from the beach. Free parking is available around the side of the hotel, but the spaces are tight - just something to bear in mind when driving there.
Amazing breakfast! Clean and nice rooms, with tea, coffee and a kettle, and a lovely sea view. I would happily stay here again."

"The weather has been unbearable they only have table fans not good enough for this weather. Could do with ceiling fans to help.Other than that we love the place we find it comfortable we go every 3 months every thing is on the door step Town a couple minutes walk the sands the same.good food.But the menu has been altered since we went march, more choice then."

Personale SUPER-CORDIALE e a disposizione in caso di necessità.
Camera tripla molto spaziosa.
Ci è stata assegnata una camera vista mare (upgrade) anche se avevamo pagato senza vista: davvero bella vista.
Materassi un po’ vecchi, da aggiornare.
Camera con qualche anno alle spalle ma ben tenuta.
Ottimo wi-fi.

"Great hotel with character. It was nice and quiet. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Andrew was very accommodating and made us welcome. The rooms were very clean and modern. We were there on May bank holiday weekend, the hottest of the year and were provided with fans for our rooms which came in very handy. I would recommend the Queenswood Hotel for sure."

"We used the hotel as a base to tour Barry island and go to a concert in Cardiff.
Staff were excellent and very helpful. It was the hottest week of the year so far and the inside rooms were roasting.
Perfect spot to tour Barry and surrounding area, 5mins walk down hill from a Wetherspoons and centre.
Hotel was good value for what we paid. Bar was open till 1am but quiet"

"Stayed in room 6 beautifully furnished loved colour scheme great view of the pier and the sea from our window. Everything was very clean and the bed comfortable. Great breakfast each morning just a few yards down the road, think it was called Coffi. Parking is a bit of an issue. Would definitely use again. Thank you."

"The staff were very friendly and the location was great! We visited during an extreme heat wave and unfortunately it was uncomfortable sleeping. "My husband and I stayed in this hotel at very last minute. For the money we paid for the night it was okay £46. Nothing fancy but adequate for our needs. Bed was made and clean. We were on the top floor with a sea view, which was very warm. No air con. If you want fancy this hotel is not for you. If you want a place to put your head down cheaply then it's fine. There are no airs and graces."
