"The lodging was well maintained and fit our needs perfectly, including an elevator to the first floor for my husband with bad knees. Staff was attentive to any requests. Rooms were spacious and equipped with all our needs. Breakfast was substantial and beautifully presented. A perfect central locations to do day trips to 4 other northern Aldeias Historicas."

"We loved everything about this place. So much host and then also modern. The people are so nice and supportive. The location is great. Don’t forget to stop in the local restaurant. You will be surprised about the high end food. And the local store has lots of goodies."

"Staff very friendly and helpful. The room was big and clean. The bed was comfortable though the pillow was lumpy. I slept well with the quiet air conditioning keeping the room cool. Plenty of parking space in front of the hotel. The included breakfast was a nice touch."

"I had lovely stay in the hotel The room clean and comfortable,the bathroom was spotless,the view over the valley was beautiful, I would suggest only one small improvement it would nice to have complimentary bottle of water in the room, Overall nice hotel,I could stay here again 🤗 "

"Beautiful historic manor house that was tastefully decorated. Excellent value for money comfortable stay. Friendly staff. It's a privilege to have access to this beautiful historic home. Although it was old, it had a fresh interior & was in very good condition. Our bedroom was large, we had a very comfortable bed and lovely spacious ensuite bathroom. Additionally there was a communal kitchen and outdoor area used by guests as well as a large indoor swimming pool in the backyard. There was no breakfast service, but the well-equipped kitchen is available for use by guests. The nearest supermarket is a good 10min walk away. If you're driving, there's easy local parking. There was a bar/cafe in the square next to the house."

"Room with private external bathroom in this historic home that was like a living museum. Excellent value for money. Large, spacious with everything we needed for a good overnight stay. We feel privileged to have been able to stay here. We were also able to make use of a washing machine in the basement. Walking the Camino Torres this was an added advantage to our trip. We left very early the next morning, so could not make use of the well located cafe across the road for breakfast, but could use the house's kitchen to prepare breakfast. The house was a bit musty smelling given the age, but not problematic. The bedroom had a slippery carpet. We accidentally locked ourselves out of our bathroom (mentioning as a caution to guests)."
