"The property was nice and clean. The rooms were well accommodating. With clean fresh smell. We did have a teeny problem with some tiny ants. But they weren’t too much of an annoyance. Couldn’t figure out where they were coming from but would only go into the clothing area as opposed to going into the kitchen. Hike to beach was fun for the kids. Lots of wildlife visible. "

The resort is far from the airport and getting to the beaches was a minor inconvenience as the hike to the bay-side beach was steep and a short shuttle is required for a trip to Manuel Antonio. Check-out was simple and fast and staff were friendly. The pool area was beautiful, but we opted to spend more time at the beaches and only went to the pool once. "This was a lovely and comfortable hotel. The location was close to many restaurants, plus the onsite restaurant had a nice variety of tasty foods. Breakfast was included, and there were plenty choices. (The french toast was our favorite!) The grounds were lovely, including the pool, trees, flowers, and a water feature. The service was also very good."

"Wonderful family operation, friendly, helpful staff, amazing view with lots of wildlife surrounding the hotel. From our door we spotted toucans, macaws, agouti, three types of monkeys, to mention a few. The owner is warm and welcoming. There is a delightful pool overlooking the jungle and ocean. We can’t imagine a lovelier place to stay. It is also very convenient to stores, a very natural beach, and restaurants. There is also a great highly rated Korean style restaurant on premises."
