everything about Lisland was nice from the staff to the food except the cabana we stayed in was poorly maintained from the door not latching correctly and me repairing to the shower door rollers falling out which we were able to deal with over all very nice place would recommend and would stay again.

Lisland Rainforest Resort used to be beautiful & radiant. I remember it about 10 years ago for our first family reunion. Unfortunately, at current state, it is completely rundown. The staff is still wonderful. They provided a great reunion event for us. However, the rooms are very run down. Mosquitoes inside. Seems less staff for the place. Swimming pool not very clean. Unless, it makes drastic change, we may opt for newer hotel nearby.

We had the original Filipino breakfast w/ very good coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful. Mosquitoes in the evening were a problem- easily remedied w/ Off insect repellant. Bathroom was clean. Pool is clean. Would recommend this place!

Staff very nice, helpful, and friendly. Rooms full of mosquitoes, air cons not working well, showers not ventilated, room always moist. Big problem is you can’t leave AC on when you leave the room and come back to a really hot room. It takes hours for the room to cool off. Bar/resto area was nice. Pool was a bit dirty but big. For example mold on walls of pool. Easy to fix, but not being done. Many people roaming property who are not staff and guests. Came back to my room with people’s drivers sitting on our patio. Lots of stray animals walking around.

The property is strategically and conveniently located at the crosshairs of all the places needed to go to. The bus stop is adjacent to the property. Public transport is available 24/7. The restaurant serves good food. Pool is huge and inviting. Rooms are tidy. Bathrooms are outdated but I am not fussy as long as it is private and there is hot shower.

Foods are great! Friendly staffs. Convenient place to stay except that there’s no way to contact the service desk, no phones in the room. The water drainage in the shower was not properly made, not draining the water completely

It was a nice resort in the middle of a busy city. Pool was great. Not all rooms had a ref which meant we didnt have cold water when we wanted.

I like the staff; they are friendly & responsive, good customer service I don’t like the condition of the resort - the property is not well maintained/ clean with safety environmental issues. Our restrooms smell ! It has a pungent odor, no hot water though it has a heater, the floors are in poor condition with red blotches of paint all over which I thought initially was blood coz the light was not clear in the room we were shown. The pull out beds move a lot whenever the one sleeping or using it moves which is a safety (fall/ slip) issue. We arrived late so when we were shown a room, I was very careful as the pathways were slippery due to the mud and the lighting was not enough which is a safety concern. The garden is dirty & cluttered with a lot of debri around such as twigs, palm leaves, old pieces of boards, plastic with water which is also an eyesore. Grass around or much better elevating the pathways a little will keep the mud off it to avoid falls/ slips. The staff placed folded cardboard boxes in the pathway going to the Marqis cafe so the mud from the footwear is not all over the floor. There are small insects in the rooms so my children has so many bites. The pool has so many leaves falling from the nearby trees which may affect the water and in turn cause skin issues for the swimmers. I did not see any staff with a life guard shirt on and there were guests swimming. We are so disappointed with the environmental issues we just wanted our stay to finish & leave !!!

The best thing about our stay at Lisland was the service. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was fairly comfortable but furnishings were well worn and plumbing was in need of repair.
