"We were a bit disappointed in the size and cleanliness of the room. It was so small we didnt have room to open our luggage. Had to place them on the bed. There was tons of dust on the light fixtures and baseboards. Being a clean freak I was put off by that. Staff were okay but not as friendly as other hotels we stayed at."

"The stand out was the service. Friendly staff and excellent service. Room service was speedy and if you had breakfast included there was no extra charge. We had an issue with our TV and someone was there within 2 mins. The amenities in the bathroom smelt gorgeous. Loved the variety in the mini bar. Good size mugs for a cuppa. Only down side was the water pressure in the shower."

"Location, location, location! It's barely 2 blocks from Edinburgh Waverly Station, and you might even be able to get there directly (though I couldn't find it). An easy walk up and down Princes Street with lots of shopping and dining. The breakfast room is lovely, the servers were helpful and friendly, and the food was delicious. I stayed on a tour, and out of 6 hotels, Apex had some of my favorite toiletries. My kids also liked the pool, although it was 'too cold' for them. We were there...
