"Lovely location. The gentleman at reception was very talkative and welcoming. The pool was nice and warm. The food was wonderful at the restaurant. Our room was very large and the balcony was an added bonus. "

"This is a superb place to stay, especially with a dog. I traveled with a well-behaved 20 lb terrier, and the beds were comfortable, the water was hot and plentiful in the shower, and most of all, the grounds and proximity to hiking trails made it worthwhile. "Ein wirklich tolles 5-Sterne-Hotel! Der Service war exzellent, das Zimmer komfortabel und sehr gut ausgestattet. Alles war sauber und gepflegt. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten, wie kleine Unstimmigkeiten beim Check-in, könnten noch optimiert werden, aber das hat den positiven Gesamteindruck nicht getrübt. Ich komme definitiv wieder!"

"We really liked our room, it was modern, clean & the communal kitchen & complimentary bottled water was a plus. The beds were comfy and the room was well equipped for our toddler and baby, with a baby changing table, potty and step. The staff couldn't do enough to accommodate us, especially as my partner had a dairy allergy, they contacted the bakery for allergens and made him fried eggs as the eggs usually on offer contained dairy. Our only niggle (which the guest house can't do anything about)...

"Engel16 is a fantastic find not far from Germany’s highest waterfall with comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting. Astrid and Victor are wonderful hosts who take the utmost care to care for their guests and offer an amazing restaurant menu in the evening tasty breakfast in the morning! I wish we had more time to stay, enjoy the area and experience the hospitality. Thank you!"
