I LOVED this hotel! My room was extremely spacious with a balcony, a dedicated workspace, and a sizable bathroom. No AC, which is unfortunate, but leaving my balcony door open at night and closing the drapes during the day helped keep the temperature down. Front desk staff was extremely helpful with all of my questions, and I recommend both the dinner and breakfast.

Beautiful hotel and would definitely stay again! Room was spacious and clean. Nice restaurant and outdoor area to relax and have a cocktail. Small play area for the kids as well. Only issue was the room was so hot at night bc no AC but there are large windows that can be opened in the room. Beds were so comfy. Parking available and great buffet breakfast. I noticed on the last day that one section of the dining area had some kids’ books and activities, which I thought was a nice touch. Also love that it used to be an old clock factory and that its history is worked into the decor of the hotel,

New and stylish hotel! Good but quite expensive food at their own restaurant, breakfast great! Hot summer nights due to no air conditioning in the rooms and thick blankets. Highly recommended! Will return. :)

Stayed here, as I had a meeting in the town and my customer recommended this hotel. My room was enormous, and given my late arrival time (after 9pm), the staff in the kitchen (despite it having closed) made food for me as I was starving. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. I didn't check out the gym but if the rooms are anything to go by, this will be one of the best hotel gyms I have been to. Parking was also free, which was a big bonus and plenty of space available.

Nature's Escape!!

What a view!! This room has no air conditioning but would definitely go back. I don't like cold air blasting, so it was not inconvenient for me. The view from my room was so comforting and nice to sit in the balcony enjoying it all even for a short stay. I took a short walk after dinner and very relaxing and quiet town. The service checking in and service at the restaurant for dinner and morning buffet was excellent. Greaj job!! First time in Germany and the warm feeling and welcome was extremely appreciated. Thank you!!

Lovely boutique Hotel and very helpful staff. The room was comfortable, with nice mattress, linen and pillows. Good bathroom, strong wifi, and a lovely breakfast. Very happy with my stay here and will come again.

This was my first stay at Hotel Federwerk and it was a great experience! The room was large, comfortable and well lit - really first class! The hotel as a whole was modern and in top shape, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant in the hotel was quite good, and the free breakfast buffest every morning was delicious. Parking behind the hotel was very convenient since I had a rental car, and it is just a short walk to the tourist info center in Sankt Georgen as well as local shops for anything one might need. I didn't have time to use it, but the fitness room was large and well equipped for folks who want to work out during their stay. Highly recommend Hotel Federwerk to anyone visiting the Schwartzwald and Sankt Georgen!

The reception staff at this hotel were extremely unwelcoming, unfriendly, unhelpful and rude. Your first impressions were bad. Check-in process was unpleasant. The rooms were bright and clean. There were no hot drinks (coffee or tea) in the rooms. Breakfast was comprehensive. Small hot food section, cold meats and cheeses, fruit, cereals and bread rolls. On the busier weekend days, the staff struggled to keep up with bringing out enough food, so lots of empty plates at the serving station. The staff also struggled to clean and set tables during these days. Poor planning from the management. Overall, I would not recommend this place. Such a shame.

Das Zimmer war sauber und modern ausgestattet, jedoch sehr hellhörig und definitiv nicht schallisoliert. Dadurch hat man auch die Musik von der Hochzeitsparty bis tief in die Nacht mitbekommen. Auf solche besonderen Events könnte man die Gäste auch gerne vorab hinweisen. Zudem hört man immer, wenn im Flur (egal welche Etage) jemand lauft und anschließend die Tür zuknallt. Wir konnten nachts leider nicht entspannen. Das Frühstück war gut und die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich. Der Checkout hat leider ein wenig gedauert und es hat sich eine längere Schlange gebildet. Es wäre vermutlich besser, wenn man die Kurtaxe vorab abrechnet, um sich diese Zeit beim Checkout zu ersparen.

Super neuwertiges Hotel mit schönen Zimmern. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon, von dort aus wir eine tolle Aussicht genießen durften. Das Hotel war ursprünglich mal eine Fabrik, dessen Zeitgeist sich in den Räumen widerspiegelt und auch dokumentiert wurde. So lernt man auch gleich was von Land und Leute und aus der Vergangenheit des Schwarzwaldes. Frühstück war gut und vielseitig.
