Nature's Escape!!

What a view!! This room has no air conditioning but would definitely go back. I don't like cold air blasting, so it was not inconvenient for me. The view from my room was so comforting and nice to sit in the balcony enjoying it all even for a short stay. I took a short walk after dinner and very relaxing and quiet town. The service checking in and service at the restaurant for dinner and morning buffet was excellent. Greaj job!! First time in Germany and the warm feeling and welcome was extremely appreciated. Thank you!!

New and stylish hotel! Good but quite expensive food at their own restaurant, breakfast great! Hot summer nights due to no air conditioning in the rooms and thick blankets. Highly recommended! Will return. :)

Stayed here, as I had a meeting in the town and my customer recommended this hotel. My room was enormous, and given my late arrival time (after 9pm), the staff in the kitchen (despite it having closed) made food for me as I was starving. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. I didn't check out the gym but if the rooms are anything to go by, this will be one of the best hotel gyms I have been to. Parking was also free, which was a big bonus and plenty of space available.

Lovely boutique Hotel and very helpful staff. The room was comfortable, with nice mattress, linen and pillows. Good bathroom, strong wifi, and a lovely breakfast. Very happy with my stay here and will come again.

Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful and the sauna was very relaxing. No air-conditioning, but they provided a fan that allowed us sleep well.

This was my first stay at Hotel Federwerk and it was a great experience! The room was large, comfortable and well lit - really first class! The hotel as a whole was modern and in top shape, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant in the hotel was quite good, and the free breakfast buffest every morning was delicious. Parking behind the hotel was very convenient since I had a rental car, and it is just a short walk to the tourist info center in Sankt Georgen as well as local shops for anything one might need. I didn't have time to use it, but the fitness room was large and well equipped for folks who want to work out during their stay. Highly recommend Hotel Federwerk to anyone visiting the Schwartzwald and Sankt Georgen!

The reception staff at this hotel were extremely unwelcoming, unfriendly, unhelpful and rude. Your first impressions were bad. Check-in process was unpleasant. The rooms were bright and clean. There were no hot drinks (coffee or tea) in the rooms. Breakfast was comprehensive. Small hot food section, cold meats and cheeses, fruit, cereals and bread rolls. On the busier weekend days, the staff struggled to keep up with bringing out enough food, so lots of empty plates at the serving station. The staff also struggled to clean and set tables during these days. Poor planning from the management. Overall, I would not recommend this place. Such a shame.

Bis auf 7€ extra für die Sauna war es echt super. Die Zimmer sind schön gestaltet. Jedoch fand ich die 7€ extra für nur 1 kleine Sauna, zwar mit etwas Ausblick auf die umliegende Landschaft, doch recht teuer.
