"The pool and hot tub were very clean. The rooms were clean and comfy as well. Ample parking and the hot breakfast in the morning was nice to have as well. Conveniently located near Munising and not too far a drive from Picture Rocks Lakeshore."

"The cabin was nicer in person. It was clean and decorated nicely. Lots of counter space. Loved the windows that allowed you to see the stars when in bed. Great location. Loved the firewood and fire pit/stove was with every cabin. Loved the extra hike and surprises opportunities were available, wish we had planned that in!"

"One of the best mid-tier hotels I've stayed in in a long time! Hard to believe it is a Holiday Inn Express. They renovated in November 2025 and spared no expense. The pool and hot tub were huge and very nice. They had a commercial Costa coffee maker in the lobby. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful and included a pancake maker! The rooms were nicely done. They had firm and soft pillows...loved the discrete labeling on the pillow cases. The view of Lake Superior from the breakfast room and the back porch were gorgeous...I could not get enough. I would definitely return to this hotel if I am in the area again. And I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family."
