There is a lack of maintenance and investment in the facility. The floor of my room had a maze of black marks on it. The finish on the furniture was chipped and scratched. "I could not recommended Pines and Palms enough - it was spotlessly clean, everyone was super friendly and it was so nice and peaceful. The pool area is fabulous and there’s access to free paddle boards and kayaks etc - we were really sad to leave!"

"The hotel was in the mist of redoing it's landscaping by adding gaint palm trees and some new boat docks, but it didn't interfere with the overall feel of the place. We enjoyed the free paddle boards and pool. Its also located on a beautiful part of the Keys"

"The check-in was easy and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, the location is great for our trip, the price per night is competitive, unfortunately there was no water pressure in the shower, and 1 of the fan/light fixtures did not have a functioning remote. We have enjoyed stays here in the past, and we hope the team can correct the issues as we would stay here again on future trips if they do so."

Finally, I called the number I was given six times and never got a response even when I was calling, because of illegal activity on the property. Housekeeper was very nice and rooms were very clean."
