"The first room we got checked into smelled like vomit, straight up. We could pinpoint it was coming from a side table. We contacted the front desk and they put us in another room right away. The furniture in the rooms is super pleasant and modern which is a nice contrast against the old building. The bar is awesome! "

"Nice room, pretty hotel. Lots of construction in the area at this time. This is the second time we’ve stayed, and the second time I’ve received random charges on my credit card that I had to ask about. During this stay we couldn't check in until 4:30 given a glitch in their system ( the room was ready but the front desk couldn’t “release it”). A couple of minutes turned into 30. "

"Oh my goodness. I cannot express how grateful I am to have found SIXTY. My experience began with correspondence with Johnny, the Front Desk Manager. My family and I traveled to DC to have our civil wedding ceremony. We needed an early check in so that we could get ready before heading to the courthouse. Well the team over delivered! "Charming hotel and very friendly staff especially during check-in. My one and only complaint is how noisy my stay was. I highly recommend asking for a room far away from the house-keeping closet space because they are constantly in and out and shutting doors at all hours of the day. The doors to the rooms need to be sealed better but I understand it's an older hotel."

"If you want to experience Georgetown in its true spirits, you have to stay at Georgetown Inn. It’s walking distance to restaurants, harbor, university, shops. Parking is additional but was a relief it was to not worry about finding a spot or moving it. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, which made the stay memorable!"

Not only is it luxurious and friendly, but you'll find at least 5 taxis by it at any time (a definite plus when certain Metro lines are being repaired).
