"The main problem during our stay was the noise. The walls are extremely thin — we could hear everything, even the people in the next room using their microwave. We were placed between two rooms that seemed to be traveling together, and they partied and slammed their doors throughout the night. By 3 AM, we had to ask them to quiet down. "I ended up at Camp Deforest serendipitously, but it was one of the highlights of my trip! This beautifully renovated motel from the 1950s has a summer camp theme that's the perfect blend of nostalgia and whimsy. So much thought was put into the design; anywhere your eye lands there will be something cool to look at. The rooms were super comfortable, adorably decorated, and absolutely spotless. And the staff was awesome, too! I was traveling solo, and both Zach at checkin and Joe the next morning...

"Parking situation isn’t good. Ok that it’s 2 blocks away but they only have 5 passes so every time you want to park you need to stop at the hotel. Grab one of only 5 parking passes, go park and walk back and return the pass. Not great in 33 degrees and pouring cold rain. They need outlets by the desk that aren’t full. I also think the little gym needs to be open 6-10 vs 7-9. "
