Underbart område, ett ok hotell med perfekt läge.

Helt ok hotell med väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Rummen är stora, rena och fräscha med bra balkong. Hotellet ligger i Unawatuna utanför Galle som är supertrevligt. Hotellet ligger helt perfekt vid stranden med egna solstolar och strandrestaurang. Minus med hotellet är frukosten, vi köpte frukost på andra ställen de flesta dagarna. Sedan har de väldigt gamla obekväma sängar och inte mycket varmvatten.

A nice place near the beach

I liked the hotel. First I was a litlle suspicios because I had read so many bad comments but the hotel was very comfortable. The hotel has the old charm. There were two of us and we had two big rooms with ocean views. All people in the hotel were very friendly and both of us enjoyed our stays. The breakfirsts were good enough. There was one thing what I cannot understand and what I didn`t like. When we came to the hotel I ought to show that the breakfirst is included in my reservation . Why? Don´t they know what they had sold me? I had taken the papers in english but there was aamiainen kahdelle.

Hôtel bien placé

Hôtel de style colonial qui mérite un rajeunissement. Cher pour la prestation offerte. Chambre spacieuse et propre mais triste (vieux parquet sombre - murs sans décoration). Pas de bouilloire à disposition dans la chambre - Manque de variété des petits déjeuners - Impossible de se connecter en wi-fi dans la chambre - Une seule chaise - Fauteuils détériorés sur le balcon - Ménage tous les deux ou trois jours. Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse du personnel et notamment de Yunnee qui se démène pour donner satisfaction à vos requêtes. La plage face à l'hôtel est agréable. Belle vue depuis la chambre. Les toilettes communes ne sont pas accueillantes.... Certains soirs sont très bruyants ( musique très forte venant de cafés proches parfois jusqu'à 3 H du matin).

Decent stay across from the beach

This is an older hotel with nice staff and okay facilities that's across the street from the beach. There was initially no towels in my room, but they corrected that right away. It's a good hotel depending on what you're looking for. If you want something a bit older, with decent accommodation, and good breakfast, then this is your choice. The wifi is horrible and doesn't work in rooms.

Keväinen loma Unawatunassa

Olimme offseason kaudella toukokuussa Unawatunassa. Paikka oli aika hiljainen, mutta erittäin miellyttävä mitä pitempään paikassa olimme. :)Iltaisin paikka hiljeni kylläkin klo22 mennessä. Hotellin henkilökunta oli erittäin mukavia kaikki.

Slitet men bra läge

Perfekt läge på stranden (även om själva hotellet ligger på andra sidan den lilla gatan). Vänliga och trevliga och bra värde för pengarna. Men hotellet är slitet och känns lite dekis. Bra att utgå från och njuta av Unawatunas övriga utbud.

Udemærket

Det var et fint hotel efter hvad jeg ellers har set i 2 uger på Sri Lanka. Hotellet havde små mangler (skuffende morgenmad, kun rengøring hvis man bad om det og gav os et forkert værelse første dag), men de gjorde op for det meste i service! De gjorde alt hvad de kunne, for at rette op på tingene og gjorde det med et smil.

A very good hotel a cross the road from the beach large balconies with sea view and good internal facilities friendly and helpful staff throughout, under the control of a manager who seems never to leave his post nice beach bar with very attentive staff giving the extra bit to give you good service. Would return again.
