"This hotel was a very affordable and pleasant experience as a solo traveler. It was kept extremely clean every day. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice. Upstairs the snacks/coffee and rooftop were a nice touch. For my first time in Seoul I thought the location was fine. Sometimes it felt a little off the beaten path, but overall it was quiet and not touristy. It was very accessible to the subway and the airport bus was on the corner. The king size room had very little floor space for more than one open luggage so I would caution anybody sharing a room as it may be difficult. All in all it was a positive experience here and I do recommend it."

"This was our first time in South Korea and I have to say, everything was pretty much perfect at Oralia. Spacious room for 2 and the staff was exceptionally helpful, pleasant and warm. From check in to check out, everything was smooth. Very nice accommodation and we enjoyed our stay :-)"

"I loved the location of this hotel. Insadong was right outside. Myung dong was in walking distance. Airport limo bus stop was a 5 min walk. Lots of good eats and historical sites within easy walking distance. Hotel seems new - rooms are super clean. Water dispense on every floor. The self check lockers in the hotel also made it easy to secure our luggage before the 3pm check in and spend a beautiful autumn day in Seoul."

"Despite some minor downsides such as small thin towels and the bathroom showing a bit of age and wear, I would still give this 5 stars because it hits on the things that are most important to me. It has an actual desk area as opposed to a standalone table so you can keep your laptop charging while you work if needed. They provide free bottled water each day (2x Evian and 2x Sparkling in the Deluxe Double room I stayed in). Housekeeping cleaned my room promptly regardless of what time I stepped out. Airport bus dropoff and pickup are directly in front of the hotel. Subway lines 2 and 5 at Euljiro 4 is half a block away, and line 3 is available at Euljiro 3 station which you can even walk to via the underground passageway from Euljiro 4. Plus the Euljiro 4 exit 10 which is closest to the hotel has escalators. These transportation options alone make Hotel Kukdo a must-consider for any stay in Seoul. I only wish I could have had an option to pay for early check-in but was told it is unavailable (not sure if it was just for that day or if that's standard policy). But overall, very pleased with my stay."

"We enjoyed staying at The Hotel Botanik Sewoon because of the very convenient location which was walkable to many of the markets, malls, restaurants and bars we wanted to visit, and it is also close to many bus and subway stops as well as being an easyTaxi and Uber pickup location. The best part was our room, which was very clean and included two bedrooms and we added an extra single rollaway bed which easily fit in the living room. This fit our family of four (with two teenagers) well. We were also excited that we could rent their screening room (small movie theater), to watch the premier of our favorite Netflix series. Lastly we loved having a convenience store open 24/7 onsite. Would definitely recommend and come back to this hotel again! "
