"We are from Australia and travelling around the world by bicycle. We had a lovely warm welcome and made to feel nothing was too much trouble . Very pleased to be able to safely store our two bicycles. We enjoyed all the facilities so much that we stayed an extra night. Very relaxing ambience and we enjoyed our day off the bikes . We had just come from another safari where there were always lots of cars driving around, and it was clearly easier to spot the animals.
But at Thanda, we were lucky enough to see something different—we went on a walking safari where we saw lots of giraffes, which are my favorites, a group of elephants drinking water, and a lion resting.
