"It is a great place if you are into mountain biking. We were there to see area, walks to local attractions. Unit is big with 2 bedrooms. Queen bed needs replacing…you roll into middle. Nice to have restaurant on premise as this is quite remote."

"I’m rating this negatively because of my experience in getting the keys of the booked room. I know I booked the room at the very last moment, but the hotel had a very poor out-of-hours check-in service. I had to call the property seeking my room information and was only told at that time that due to a hotel policy, I should provide my credit card information for a security deposit, and I had no access to my credit card at that time but could provide the info in 15 mins; however, the reception was closing in five minutes. Leaving me with no option and requesting an alternative solution. I was told that a security bond would be exempted and I would get the keys. On arrival with my family, including my two-year-old son, I had no information about my room or any check-in information. I had to call security, which took some time, and we waited in the car for so long outside the motel before security arrived and looked for my room keys inside.
I just want to ask the motel or Expedia to flag these weird motel policies before taking the booking and payment deduction so the customer can make an informed decision and avoid being left in such a situation."
"If you have to stay in this area, you have very few choices, and this place is tolerable. The one bed we used was comfortable enough, and it was nice to have a refrigerator and laundry facilities inside the unit. It was also nice to see the platypus and kangaroos/wallabies at the nearby pond.
However, in other ways this was The House of No. No reply to our emailed questions two days in advance. No notice that the only restaurant for many miles would be closed on both of the two days we were there. No light at all in the master bathroom. Essentially no heat in the clothes dryer. No instructions for lights or heaters. No upgrading of the facility or furniture.
So decide for yourself. This won’t be your favorite place, but it will mostly do the needful."
"Beautiful part of the state, the simplicity of the accommodation blended with the beautiful countryside. The sauna was a treat, and food at Maydena Eats was delicious. WiFi instructions were wrong (maybe outdated?) and shower floors and bedroom corners had been overlooked— fixable things. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
"Beautiful Aussie atmosphere in a very glamorous shearers Shed accommodation that was very well equipped with very modern bathroom and old world charm and self catering was a big plus. "
