"We stayed 3 nights in room 7. The pros: The retro vibe is pretty cool. The lady working the office was very friendly and helpful every time we interacted. The air conditioner worked great. The shower was very spacious with hot water. The property is a five minute walk to the local grocery story, which was very convenient. It’s a short walk to the beach. The refrigerator was a far better model than the typical hotel/motel fridge. The giant nautical map in the room was really cool. The cons: The motel is at least half a mile from the nearest restaurant (if that challenges some.) The sink in room 7 is very small and has a huge faucet and shelf over the sink to place toiletries. I couldn’t lean over the sink when brushing my teeth. I had to turn my head sideways and place my head between the sink and shelf to rinse my mouth. Forget about washing your face in that sink. There was no chair in the room, only the two beds. I would stay a Royal Palms again but would select a differing room layout."

"Great location and staff were very helpful. The room cleanliness was a 6/10 but the towels were a 10/10! Parking was great and walking access to beach was good too - although the hotel access was closed so we had to go to a public access point about a block away - not a big deal! Kids enjoyed breakfast and coffee was good."

"Staff was amazing. Super sweet front desk ladies. Property is what to be expected. It’s a much older property in the beach which few updates. Our door wouldn’t close easy but we figured it out. Please note the outlets are wonky so if you need to plug in a charger for phone or laptop, you’ll need an extension cord. In our case one was available in the room for use. Walking distance to all beach shops and restaurants. Parking very limited"
