room had extremely strong cigarette smell. next door property were so noisy, you can hear everything. location was great, everything you need just downstairs like cafes, restaurants and chemist. ended up having to buy a diffuser to make room smell nice. they also need to upgrade tvs.

Unfortunately it wasn’t a great experience - when confirming accommodation the day before I was advised there was no parking onsite however on the ad which stated parking available however I was told that this type of room doesn’t have parking. It was aadvertised as a 1bedroom place & is actually a studio which states this on the actually apartment website but on Wotif it’s advertised as a 1bedroom. We have a new born baby & there was no way I would have booked a place without parking & a studio. On Check In was told that there was an issue with the screen door not being on tracks - it was actually the Glass Door off the tracks – there is no screen door there. It was good that the gentleman did come up straight away & we were able to put back onto the tracks however the rollers are stuffed & it’s a struggle to actually open the door with making the worst noise or making it come of the rails again. The comment from the gentleman was yeah rollers are stuffed & we’ll have to get replaced. A long with that one of the two chairs on the balcony with the table was broken with no pin in the legs which my wife sat on & nearly fell over… In all this made the balcony not really usable.. Then there was the cold tap on the ONLY sink in the place which was in the bathroom which didn't really work either & we had to take water from the bath taps. This was a special occasion with for our first holiday with our bub & for a for this to happen was disappointing.

The location of the apartment was great. Walking distance to most things & opposite the beach. We had a parking spot in the secure garage at $20.00 a night. If you have a small to medium size vehicle it is great but anything larger is a squeeze.There is free parking opposite the apartment which is far better than the garage. We had a 2 bedroom apartment. The kitchen, dining & lounge areas are ma good size space along with the balcony the bedrooms are small. The wardrobe in the main bedroom wasn't able to be used as the hot water system is in there! The unit is dated & wasn't very clean. There is an awning over the main bedroom window which is ripped & looks like it has for a long time & it flaps in the wind. It needs replacing or to be completely removed. I will stay at Kingscliff again but wouldn't recommend these apartments.

Stayed at the property with another couple and a friends. We arrived at 8:30pm and by 9.:30pm we had a noise complaint for being on the balcony. We had a kid free night and must have been talking too lound, we had no music on. half an hour later we got a second and got told to go inside and shut all the doors and windows. We went to bed at 11:30pm. The following morning on looking every cupboard had drips of something. The bath had drown stains around it like a dirty mop is used, we found the mop bucket

Confusing
There seem to be a few discrepancies between what is shown on Hotels.com and what the accommodation actually offer. Hotels.com show that payment can be made upon arrival yet when we arrived payment had already been taken along with a 1.5%fee. Parking is shown as free on Hotels.com but we were charged for parking. We couldn't access internet and although promised this would be looked into it never was. We raised all of these issues with management and parking fee was refunded but not the positive experience I want while on hols. FYI if you drive a large car check the parking before you pay for it, it's very tight and we ended up parking on the street anyway.

Very disappointing, as we were on the 1st floor with lovely views which we were enjoying a man jumped up on the floor which was eye level for us.. walked over and said hi then jumped onto the next roof where he climbed into a window of friends it seems that were having a party that went to 4 am. The party didn't worry us so much it was the sense of unease and safety

Great stay in Kingscliff
We rented a king bed room with ocean views and whilst our stay was good overall, some small improvements could make a huge difference. The biggest difference would have been cleanliness as a lot of dust around appliances and the shower was not as clean as it should be. Great jetted tub and comfortable bed. Sliding doors needed Maintenance along with the front door which was attended to during the stay after we reported it. Whilst there was ample storage for clothes the wardrobe had zero coat hangers and the space was largely occupied by an ironing board and vacuum (we ended up buying coat hangers). Again little things yet attention to detail will make this a real ‘boutique’ apartment. Location cannot be beaten and there were no noise issues. Parking was available across the street in the beach Carpark at no cost. Plunge pool was also a great amenity. We would definitely come back and stay again.

YES WE WOULD COME BACK
Yes, we would return here for a stay. It is in a great position opposite beach. There is a restaurant below which was not operating during our stay. Described as a deluxe property - it is very much in original condition probably about 20+ years in age and showing signs of wear. Outside blinds were torn and metal frames damaged causing them to bang against bedroom window even in light wind. TV Premium channels - Foxtel connection did not work and remote controls encrusted with soil build up. Huge balcony was great but floor needed a mopping and dirt build-up removed from glass side panel base. Despite these and other deficiencies, we found the place very convenient and suitable for our needs and worth the money we paid.

Location is excellent. Right on the sea front, close to shops/ restaurants. Getting into the property was a bit of a hassle - directed from one property to another. Would be OK if you are travelling by car; less convenient if arriving by taxi/ public transport. Signage on property obscure from street level. Customer serviece was pleasant and responsive though front desk only staffed 10am- 4pm.

Excellent location, views. Comfortable bed. Studio apartment was roomy enough but another table/desk outside of cupboard would be useful when using crockery. Parking was difficult in the garage.

We loved the position of the apartment, close to the beach, cafes, shop and views were amazing. Could have been cleaner, instructions for foxtel/TV would have been hardy. Fridge needs defrosting. Lots of stairs but was good exercise. Overall, would definately stay again

Great location.Beds very comfortable and nice having tv in lounge and bedroom . Bathroom lights wat too dark.I did not feel the place was adequately clean in the kitchen . Certain pieces of furniture were very tired . Overall lovely stay but just a bit tired .Would stay again.

The Location is the only thing to like about this property The car park is terrible, to small, very difficult to get in and out with ease, management is off premises and they lack communication, but largely the price was excessive for what you get, we will not return to this property in the future.

Great spot to stay for a few days in Kingscliff
We were staying in Kingscliff and wanted somewhere to stay on the esplanade close to everything - restaurants shops and of course the beach without paying a lot. The location of the apartment was perfect. It was a self-contained studio that was a good size, bathroom was modern and also good size, bonus was the large balcony with day-bed, overlooking the road to the beach. Would have been better view if next floor up, but that may have cost more too. We went in early November so not too crowded - Kingscliff is a lovely town, good shopping and restaurants and Hotel is great. Price was very reasonable. Included WiFi, and Fox.

A great apartment (No.6) the wrong place.26 steps up from the road ( 2 flights of stairs), no lift. No fire escape. No smoke alarms. No instructions for TV, Foxtel, CD Player, Radio/Cassette Player, Dishwasher.. I would not recommend this apartment for any person who is not fit as a Mountain Goat. Poor View ( 25 degrees) between buildings. Cannot see the beach due to buildings. Great view of backs of shops and rubbish bins. Poor Parking spaces.

We weren't informed about the park reconstruction going on over the road and were woken up at 7am (we're on holiday) by concrete cutting every morning. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay, with a fantastic array of places to eat out all within very easy walking distance.

Couldnt get wifi at all even after going to off site manager. We had asked for secure parking but someone was parking in the limited parking spot for our unit and when we went to off site manager they said it was first in fets the park. When questioned further we were given parking at another property which was better than nothing but far from great. It said 4 single beds in add and confirmation email, 2 in each room but there only 3 single beds and trundles that were not made up. We had to wait around for someone to come and make up one of the trundles but there was barely enough room in the bedroom for the trundle. It could have beem cleaner, dirty cups, toilet, shower etc. Everything felt sticky...

This property is in a great location, amongst lots of eateries. We had a very attractive and comfortable spa room that faced the beach from a sheltered balcony with a day bed. The bed was very comfortable and the only outside noise we heard was a single garbage truck/street sweeper. The room was listed as a studio apartment but it was really neither of those. No kitchenette that an apartment would have. A very nice hotel room though.

Great position and could have been amazing unit if not for the uncomfortable bed and lounge. Also was not clean when we arrived and no soap in shower. Mainly the bathroom which needs major attention in the cleanliness department.

Great self contained unit close to beach and cafes
Great spot in Kingscliff for a relaxing break. Very handy to local cafes, restaurants, bars and clubs. Great views and breeze from the balcony. All you could need in a self contained unit. Great kitchen facilities, bathrooms, dining and lounge.

No hot water and staff unhelpful.
The hot water was not working, as we only staged for one night we didn't realise until the morning of leaving. Staff were unhelpful when reporting.

Don't visit in the off season
This hotel was not what it said. The room we booked was advertised as 1 bedroom with kitchen. It was a hotel room with a microwave and some plates. The building was being cement rendered so dust everywhere, noise and the pool was totally out of action despite being included in the information handed to us at check in. And did I mention the noise?

Great position but unit dirty and dusty.
We arrived in the dark and there was not enough lighting or signs so we lugged our bags up and down the stairs trying to find our unit. There was a fine layer of dust over all the banisters. The next day we found a notice in the mailbox saying that there was work being done on the wall adjoining the next property so that the pool was not allowed to be used. I would not have chosen to stay in this unit if I had been advised of this at the time of booking. The dust was all through the unit. I also had to clean the bath with disinfectant before the kids could use it as it was grey from soap scum. The shared clothes dryer did not work. However the unit is in a great position and is otherwise very comfortable and well equipped.

The bathroom condition was not up to expectation, there was plaster and paint falling of the ceiling and the floor tiles around the shower door showing how unclean the floor was . The room condition overall was very tired , the location was good and the bedding was very good . The entry to the stairwell was very poorly lit and the light switch hard to locate.

Endless issues
We planned a romantic get away for my husband and I and this was hampered by many small annoying problems. Firstly we were booked into the spa suite however we were put in the 2 bedroom family suite - no romance there. The air con was broken so we were moved to another property which was an upgrade. Problems continued- the bed was so squeaky that we couldn't sleep a wink and that night concluded with the early morning wake up from the heavy machinery outside our front door at 6am! Finally we were moved to the suite I had booked and had a 'one night' romantic get away! We had stayed here before and did notice that the place needed a some love. It looked and felt tired. The staff were very accommodating however it was so hard to over look the continuos problems. We won't return unfortunately!
