"Overall our stay was good. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Actually ended up sleeping on the sofa for the duration of the stay. The rooms were updated and well kept. The Bistro served good food and it was a bonus to have a bar so the adults can grab a beverage. The lobby area was a great way to hang out with fellow travelers. Had sufficient seating and the fire pit outside was a nice touch. "

"This is my 3rd stay here and honestly I’m never disappointed. Always clean and staff is always caring and very friendly. The TV in my room would turn on but didn’t notice until about 10 pm and staff came did a quick replacement to ensure we enjoyed our staff. Would recommend to anyone that’s visiting the area. Only downfall is that continental breakfast is not free but everything else is amazing. "

"The owner is very nice. Other staff, not so much. In fact, my fiancè was literally yelled at by the housekeeping lady just bc he asked for extra towels!! The TV's don't work too well, one time not at all & there was nothing they could do. Not even change our room. All in all, it's the cleanest hotel around the area for a good price. No bed bugs or any bugs for that matter, so it's a win for me. Use caution if going someplace else (in the same price range) close by bc they ALL have roaches and bed bugs! "

"Everyone working at the Double Tree was lovely. We felt so welcome. The woman running the front desk was kind, compassionate and professional when we arrived upset, having had a terrible experience at a local hotel. She quickly found a room for us before check in time, even though the hotel had been fully booked the night before. She turned our day around! The room was quiet, clean, comfortable and spacious with a lovely view of the area. Even the women working the breakfast buffet were very sweet. We've learned our lesson. From now on we stay at the Double Tree when visiting Rockland county."
