"This is the third time I have stayed at Jetwing Beach on a stopover to India. It is convenient to the airport. The rooms are comfortable and many overlook the beach. It is very quiet, and the breakfast is fabulous (particularly the Sri Lankan curry. Yum!)."

"Gomez Place is a little oasis in Negombo. The room was immense with outdoor seating in one of the many parts of the glorious garden. The pool was refreshing and breakfast a treat. Staff were always available and helpful."

"Beautiful lagoon-front self-contained hotel, room was spotless, staff the most courteous and helpful I’ve ever met. Lagoon tour (arranged by front desk) was peaceful, full of birds, Captain Rohan a fantastic guide to birds and wildlife. Transportation to Negombo is via tuktuk, driver Asim polite and exceptionally kind (provided tour of Negombo and a short errand for salt and Type G adapter for my travels, Amagi Aria has universal outlets but the rest of Sri Lanka has Type G). Excellent breakfast buffet too!"
