"Property was beautiful. We actually spent so much time in town exploring each day by the time we returned the pool was closed. That’s ok. We had a nice relaxing stay without using the amenities. Thanks"

"It was very inconvenient to get to the hotel because cars couldn’t get there being very narrow with the road. Reception was excellent, the room was very spacious. The shower was weak. The worst was the breakfast was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. The hard boiled eggs were cold, taken out of the freezer and 2-3 days old where the yolks were very dark green. Yuck. All the pastries and pound cakes were not fresh and hard. Nothing is fresh and they charge you for the juices. Bad experience....

"Nice quiet area that's close to the beach. What I did not appreciate was the additional cost such as pool towels and also they require you to wear a swim cap (for extra charge). Rooms were just okay. Beds were not comfortable. Rooms were clean but old, in need of renos for sure. Walls were scuffed, definitely need painting. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly."

"Chiara, the receptionist was outstanding, helpful , with any request . There was a problem with the fridge in the room. Upon notifying her, she immediately offered other rooms . Hotel is slightly out of the way , but practically minutes away from center . The continental breakfast was nice. Service was great ."

"Very friendly, enthusiastic front desk staff. Modern, upbeat with a musical theme - hence Ludwig’s, as in Beethoven. Beautiful grounds, very close to Lake Bolsena and a walking path by the lake. Easy parking. We loved our stay and would book it again."

"Nice tents and green areas , the prices in the resturang and bar was expensive . Also the hotel didnt have any sunbeds and umbrellas included in the price even of the hotel cost is pretty pricey. Breakfast staff was great nice and Quick service ."

"Excellent location facing the lake. Love the old charming characters of the entire building from the lobby to the room and hallways. Biggest and heaviest keychain as well as an old style safe key are rare seen nowadays. One night unplanned stay from a pit stop became our favorite. Highly recommended!"
