"The small hotel is in a pretty county setting, down a long tree-lined entry road off a country road close to Tunuyan. It is right next to their own vineyard. The rooms are divided amongst three small one-story buildings. It is relaxed rustic elegance, with rooms with high beamed ceilings. "The property is definitely showing it’s age. We had multiple rooms and all of them just had a film of dirt on the floors, as though they hadn’t been mopped in months. The stone in the rooms were chipping all over the place. The AC units didn’t work in some of the rooms. We lost power in two of the rooms twice. Overall, it was very disappointing, especially given the extremely high price point. Last time we stayed at Casa de Uco and loved it. We were excited to try the Vines this time, but...

" This house is very large with a full kitchen two bedrooms and a living room that is fully equipped with everything that you need. It is located on a beautiful vineyard with fruit trees that you are allowed to pick. The owner is an expat from America and very nice however he insisted that we paid cash and when we were allowed to pay credit card we had to pay at a higher exchange rate than what was agreed upon on hotels.com.
