Property was beautiful with bungalow looking huts with straw roof, nice rooms and other amenities, and situated at the edge of the Tulum beach. Because of how the beach is situated, during the seaweed season (unfortunately during my stay) this hotel gets it the worst. Not the fault of the hotel as it is a natural cause, but if this sort of thing bothers you, make sure you are either avoiding the seaweed season(not sure if Google is the most accurate source as I too was told I would avoid this during my stay but it was the worst - Apr 21-24) or do not book this place. Because the ocean is impenetrable from the hotel side of the beach, you’d have to walk down further south(5min) to be able to go in. And the smell…. It didn’t bother me as I think it’s sort of like what ocean smell is like. However, I can see it bothering some others. Location of the property also means it’s very quiet and relaxing, away from the party goers. It’s a bit of distance if you want to go in the heart of Tulum party zone. (30min walk in pitch dark road w/o street lights or 10min taxi ride-4-500 pesos)
They have a beautiful spa and yoga studio, and a nice little gym but the pool is where I spend a lot of time. It’s beautiful and super relaxing. All in all, I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a chill, relaxing place in Tulum for a decent price.
